Sector: Commercial
Hindmarsh has delivered exceptional Commercial new build and renovations across Australia since 1979.

We are delighted to announce the completion of the complete asset protection (façade replacement) of Roma Mitchell House for Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT).
Roma Mitchell House is a prominent, multi-tenanted, commercial building. Hindmarsh worked in close collaboration with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, Consultant and Subcontract Teams to design the unique façade in keeping with the building’s legacy aesthetics.
The highly experienced Hindmarsh Recladding Team used a ‘Prefabricated Gantry’ solution from Queensland, which expedited installation to minimise disruption to the tenants, local traffic, and the community. This innovative solution enabled a more efficient installation of the mast climbers, thus allowing the teams to replace the complete façade of ACPs with new aluminium panels to provide a safe, new exterior for the building.
Nikki Naidu, Hindmarsh Project Manager said, “The majority of the project had to be completed after hours due to the busy nature of the ‘live’ site location. The Hindmarsh Project Team, as well as our partners, suppliers, and subcontractors, demonstrated adaptability and dedication, working collaboratively around those constraints to deliver a high-quality result for our client partners. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for all their hard work, and the community for your patience and understanding during the construction phases.”

We are delighted to announce the completion of the façade replacement of 1 King William Street (1KWS) in South Australia.
1KWS is a prominent, multi-tenanted, commercial building located on the Corner of King William Street and North Terrace in the CBD in Adelaide.
Hindmarsh worked in close collaboration with Royale Investment Trust, Colliers International and the Consultant and Subcontract teams to design the new unique aluminium façade in keeping with the building’s legacy aesthetics. Key design features include the buildings feature fins, and building crown.
Nikki Naidu, Hindmarsh Project Manager said, “I am very proud of this Hindmarsh Recladding project. As is the nature of construction, several unforeseen challenges/variations arose during the program. The Hindmarsh project team, our partners, subcontractors, and suppliers demonstrated exceptional dedication, adaptability, and resilience. Working continuously for several months, including weekends and night shifts, fostered a strong sense of teamwork and camaraderie which we will proudly carry over into future projects. Thank you to everyone for your hard work and dedication. The exceptional, high-quality outcome is testament to you all.”

Recently the NSW Sydney team were delighted to settle into their new office space in North Sydney following design driven renovations.
Still located on Level 27, Northpoint Tower, North Sydney, the new and improved office features additional desk spaces, including expanded work zones for the Estimating and Work Win Teams, increased collaboration spaces, a larger kitchen and communal area for socialising, and a great view out over Sydney Harbour.
Rowan Hindmarsh, CEO said, “I am delighted by our continued growth and expansion in NSW. With these successes comes the need for a revitalised space for our exceptional construction and shared services teams. 2024 will see us continue to develop our diverse client portfolio through the delivery of highly technical projects across a wide variety of sectors.”
“I am proud of everything Hindmarsh has achieved since we expanded into NSW back in 2005. This year (2024) will see Hindmarsh celebrate our national 45th Anniversary, having been founded in Canberra, ACT back in 1979 by my father John Hindmarsh AM. Thank you to the project team who expertly designed, managed, and implemented the office expansion.”
To celebrate this milestone the Hindmarsh NSW Teams got together at the North Sydney office for food and drinks, and a big thank you to the renovation project leader Aivy Le.
