NSW Valued Partner Day 2024

Recently, the Hindmarsh NSW Team gathered with our Subcontractors, Suppliers, and Partners to share our latest pipeline, meet our team and enjoy some refreshments.

David Last State Manager – Construction NSW, stated, “These events are a great chance to reconnect with Subcontractors and Suppliers. Hindmarsh has exciting projects ahead, and discussing industry perspectives and our plans is invaluable.”

From everyone at Hindmarsh, thank you to everyone who joined us on the day, and all our subcontractors and suppliers – without you we would not be able to deliver such outstanding projects for our client partners!

Hindmarsh are proud supporters of MATES in Construction!

Recently the Hindmarsh SA teams took part in MATES Connector Training in the Adelaide office.

This insightful 4-hour session on suicide identification and intervention equips workers to be Connectors – a MATE who can keep you safe while connecting you to the help you need.

With Safe TALK embedded in the training, an internationally recognised suicide prevention program, Connectors are empowered to step up and support those who need it. By becoming Connectors, the Hindmarsh South Australia team have reinforced their dedication to creating a safer, more supportive workplace for all. Well done, and thank you to everyone who took part!

Preventing suicide is everyone’s responsibility. If you or a mate need support, the MATES Helpline is available 24/7 at 1300 642 111

Lxana DeGrandmont and Linh Dang

We are delighted to share that both Lxana DeGrandmont and Linh Dang have been accepted to the NAWIC ACT Mentoring Program 2024!

Jemma Butt, Project Manager said “I took part in this program as a Mentee in 2016 and had an incredible experience with two fantastic mentors at very senior levels in the Canberra Construction industry.  The Mentoring Program is a great way to have a look at other parts of the industry and gain access and insights from a senior manager who you are not reporting to. It is also a great opportunity for networking!”

For its 8th year running, NAWIC ACT partner, Wisdom Learning Pty Ltd will deliver and facilitate its informative, inclusive workshops for mentees and mentors. These monthly workshops are designed to enhance the mentee-mentor relationship and experience, fostering deeper connections.

Nadine O’Keeffe, Project Director added, “I can highly recommend this program to both Mentors, and our younger team members as Mentees. I participated in this program over several years with NAWIC and got a lot out of the program both professionally and personally. It has been great to see the Mentees I have been involved with grow and develop in their careers.”
