Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

As Chief Executive Officer, Rowan is responsible for all of Hindmarsh’s business activities including construction, property development, retirement and capital. Previously Rowan supervised the capital, parking and China operations of Hindmarsh. He has extensive experience in capital market transactions involving sourcing equity and debt funding. Prior to joining Hindmarsh, Rowan spent 6 years working at Accenture with clients such as AMP and UBS, both in Australia and in the United Kingdom. Rowan holds a Bachelor of Economics degree and a Bachelor of Science degree from the Australian National University.

Angelique Notaras

General Counsel

Angelique is a property & construction legal executive with over 20 years’ experience in transactional, delivery, contentious and regulatory matters across a broad range of contracting models and sectors. Having held a number of leadership positions for tier one contractors, Angelique has extensive experience in the legal management and assessment of risk in respect of major construction projects. As a strong advocate for exploring new ways our industry can better work together to innovate and collaborate, Angelique has also held an external directorship with the Australian Contractors Association (ACA) which is committed to supporting a more sustainable construction industry for the benefit of all. Angelique holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Laws from UNSW, an executive leadership certificate (MBA) from the University of Queensland and is a Master of Construction Law medallist in construction law from the University of Melbourne.

Dinesh Purswani

Chief Financial Officer

Dinesh is responsible for managing the finance and treasury function of the Group. Dinesh supports the Board and Executive team by providing the financial information to assist with strategic planning and decision making, and has oversight over the groups management reporting, tax, compliance, and stakeholder relations. Prior to being promoted to the Chief Financial Officer role, Dinesh held various roles within the Hindmarsh Group’s Finance and Treasury team, including Construction Senior Accountant, Group Financial Controller and General Manager of Finance. Dinesh has extensive experience in the accounting industry and has held Senior finance roles in Australia and the UK. Dinesh has worked for large multinationals, large ASX listed organisations, managing complex reporting structures and large teams. Dinesh’s business background includes the Property, Manufacturing, Distribution, Technology and Retailing sectors in both local and multinational organisations. Dinesh holds a Bachelor of Business and is a member of CA Australia.

As the People & Performance Manager at Hindmarsh, Ann partners with people across the business to improve employee engagement, development and productivity. With experience delivering human resources solutions in government, not for profit and the private sector, Ann is responsible for delivering people management and internal communications solutions across our business. Ann has a Bachelor of Business and Bachelor of Law, Graduate Certificate in Human Resources and Industrial Relations, Cert IV in Human Resources, is a Member of the Society for Human Resource Management and a Certified Member of the Australian Human Resources Institute (CAHRI).

David Last

National Construction Manager

David has over 27 years’ experience within the construction industry, and is adept at overseeing all administrative, construction, quality systems and safety components. David has experience in Construction Management and Senior Project Management across Data Centres, Education, Police Stations, Health, Research, Aged Care and Residential Projects in Sydney and Regional NSW, and has demonstrable experience delivering projects on time, within budget and to an exacting standard.

National SQE Manager

Dane has over two decades of SQE construction industry experience and is currently leading the national SQE team as the National Safety, Quality and Environmental (SQE) Manager for Hindmarsh Constructions Australia (HCA). Dane has WHS, Construction Management, Training and Assessor and Lead Auditor Qualifications. With a varied background working in site based and management roles at both a subcontractor and principal contractor level, Dane has extensive experience as a trusted Safety Advisor and WHS Manager. Dane is a leader within his chosen field, with a strong background in Systems/Process development and implementation and provides advice to the numerous organisations that are engaged by HCA daily. Dane is also a member of the Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner (OFSC) Industry reference group.

Pedro Cardoso

National Work Win Manager

Pedro joined Hindmarsh as the National Estimating Manager in 2017 with over 15 years’ of experience in the construction industry working in top tier D&C construction and client-side quantity surveying. Pedro has a diverse range of experience in construction projects including residential, commercial, industrial, retail, aged care, education and infrastructure ranging from 10 million to $300 million dollars. Pedro has demonstrated his expertise in competitive bidding and negotiation across multiple delivery forms (including D&C, CO, MC, CM, PPP, ECI), with expertise in Building Information Modelling (BIM), advanced estimating software and techniques. Pedro’s expertise ensures the effective cost control of all Hindmarsh projects from the initial concept design stage through to development, construction, documentation and successful delivery of the final project. Pedro holds a Bachelor of Construction Management and a Diploma in Building, Construction Carpentry.

National Business Development Manager

Glenn has over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry working across contractor and client-side project management roles in Australia and Singapore. He began his career onsite managing and delivering various residential and commercial projects, prior to transitioning to business development. Glenn is known for his collaborative approach, transparency and integrity with solid expertise in building long-term and trusted relationships with valued clients, consultants and industry partners across the education, health, industrial, residential, data centres and aged care sectors. As the National Business Development Manager, Glenn plays a key role in supporting Hindmarsh’s national growth, identifying and securing new business opportunities.

Brad has over 30 years’ experience in the construction industry, delivering projects across Australia and Asia. He has led both large, complex developments and smaller scale works across the education, commercial, residential, health, pharmaceutical and petrochemical sectors for public and private clients.

Brad’s ability to navigate the challenges associated with maintaining business continuity while executing technically demanding construction works sets him apart. With experience spanning pre-construction through to completion, he is known for building strong, high-performing teams and overseeing all aspects of design management, planning and coordination to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

In this time David has developed an in depth knowledge of the industry, through his exposure to both private and public sector works on a variety of complex and high profile projects, and is recognised by clients and contractors alike as a leader in his field. He has delivered projects across a vast range of sectors and complexities. His experience includes commercial office buildings, residential apartments, student accommodation, pc rated laboratories, data centres, education facilities for universities and schools along with theatres and stadiums. With a collaborative approach to management, David prides himself on gaining respect from clients, consultants, work colleagues and subcontractors though creating a positive and energetic team environment.

As a Development Manager, Mia’s primary focus is on the Residential Development sphere of Hindmarsh. Advising and driving programs to completion, Mia is highly skilled at delivering exceptional projects to a high standard across Urban infill and Greenfield developments. Mia holds a Bachelor of Business & Economics (Property) and is a registered Certified Practicing Valuer. With a wealth of experience nationally across all aspects of the property industry, Mia has a diverse skillset which includes design, planning, feasibility, marketing, sales and delivery. Over the course of her career, Mia has worked across the ACT, VIC and NSW markets. With a focus on design and quality outcomes, she strives to deliver innovative designs and challenges traditional apartment living.
