Supply Nation Membership July24-July25

Hindmarsh are pleased to announce our membership with Supply Nation.

Hindmarsh’s membership with Supply Nation reinforces our commitment to diversity both within our workforce and procurement processes. Hindmarsh has a history of initiatives designed to help close the gap for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities, including working with Reconciliation Australia to develop a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).

Supply Nation Chief Executive Officer, Kate Russell, said “We are delighted to welcome Hindmarsh as a member of Supply Nation and look forward to working with them to develop their supplier diversity footprint”.

Supply Nation is Australia’s leader in supplier diversity and custodian of the largest database of verified Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses – Indigenous Business Direct. Since 2009, Supply Nation has worked to foster connections between Indigenous businesses and procurement teams from government and corporate Australia. Supply Nation’s support, combined with a range of business tools and training, helps members incorporate Indigenous businesses into their supply chain, and contribute to the growth and sustainability of the Indigenous business sector.

Recently, members of the Hindmarsh NSW team attended the annual Business Women’s Lunch presented by Odyssey House NSW.

Odyssey House NSW provides rehabilitation services to address harms associated with alcohol and other drug (AOD) use.

The annual Business Women’s Lunch brings together a panel of highly accomplished women to share their personal journeys of success, leadership, and resilience.

The money raised provides crucial funding towards the Odyssey House Parent’s and Children’s Program. This program helps parents develop the skills to set up and manage a safe and healthy family home. Parents receive residential rehabilitation treatment as well as guidance from family support workers, while children receive special paediatric support to mitigate harms and break the cycle of generational drug and alcohol use.

Check out the Odyssey House website for more information.
