Hindmarsh delivered the complete asset protection (façade replacement) for Roma Mitchell House for Department for Infrastructure and Transport (DIT). Roma Mitchell House is a prominent, multi-tenanted, commercial building. Hindmarsh delivered this project under ‘live site’ conditions, minimising disruption to the tenants, local traffic and the community.
Hindmarsh worked in close collaboration with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport, and Consultant and Subcontract teams to design the unique façade in keeping with the building’s legacy aesthetics.
The highly experienced Hindmarsh Recladding Team replaced the complete façade of ACPs with new aluminium panels to provide a safe, new exterior for the building. The construction methodology focused on safety, efficiency, and minimising disruption through a considered material loading and bottom-up installation sequence.
