The Stockland Momenta Multi-Level Logistics Facility, located in Banksmeadow NSW, is both Hindmarsh and Stockland’s first multi-level industrial project.
The scope of the project included the following key aspects:
• Demolition of existing warehouse on the site, including tree removal
• Site remediation works completed in accordance with the Remediation Action Plan
• 852kW Solar System with 6no. On site Battery Energy Storage units supporting an embedded power network
• Vehicle ramps rated for B-double access and egress to the L1 warehouse

The project achieved a 5 Star Green Star rating and a 34.9% reduction in embodied carbon through the use of low carbon steel (170T achieving 82–86% reduction), low carbon concrete (25–27% reduction across key elements), and design optimisation such as converting hardstands and ramps to composite steel structures to reduce concrete volumes.
The project established a new benchmark for multi-level industrial development in Australia. Its innovative design demonstrates how vertical logistics can unlock value in scarce urban land, influencing future developments and planning approaches. Economically, the project generated significant employment during construction with over 1,600 workers contributing to the construction of the building.
