Nightingale Bowden is a multi-residential project with a total of six (6) storeys including ground (no basement) plus a rooftop.
The project includes 36 apartments, a guest house and one commercial tenancy. The community will have a dedicated rooftop space with laundry hanging space, productive gardens, landscaping, storage shed, bee-hives, cooking/dining areas, communal spaces and solar panels.
Apartment types range from one to two-bedroom apartments. The project also includes five (5), one-bedroom apartments that are to comply with NDIS SDA High Physical Support requirements.
The building will be delivered through the Nightingale Model, it is designed using simple, passive energy design principles and will achieve a minimum area-weighted average 7.5-Star NatHERS (no dwelling individually less than 6.0-Star NatHERS) and minimum 5-Star Green Star Design & As-Built v1.3 as-built certification from the GBCA.
Vertical planting, natural light and ventilation to stairs and lobby encourage residents to utilise the stairs, providing the opportunity for moments of interaction and connection with their neighbours.
