Project Overview
The ACT Government created the Public Housing Renewal Taskforce (PHRT) to build durable, modern and healthy homes for their clients in new suburban developments.
Hindmarsh were selected to complete the design documentation and build a block 32 Apartments in a newly developed section in Gungahlin. Hindmarsh were preferred to undertake this project due to their established ability to construct quality dwellings.
The apartments are contained in two (2) separate blocks of 16 apartments respectively and are built to a minimum 6-Star standard. Innovations regarding condensation management and waste water management were integrated into the design. The building has secure underground parking with lift access to all levels.
