Project Update: Opal HealthCare Marsden Park Topping Out Ceremony!

A topping out ceremony is always a special occasion for the Hindmarsh project team, and the Opal HealthCare Marsden Park topping out ceremony was no different.

The state-of-the-art Aged Care facility is the culmination of a collaborative partnership between Opal HealthCare, Hindmarsh, Custance, Bloompark – Pact PM, Taylor Brammer Landscape Architects and many more outstanding subcontractors and suppliers.

The milestone was recognised with the traditional tree hoisting ceremony on site, attended by the Blacktown City Council Mayor, Opal Executives, and the NSW Hindmarsh Leadership Team.

David Last, NSW Construction Manager said “Hindmarsh are proud to be given the opportunity to be involved in the delivery of this project. From those who attending the ceremony it is evident on how much it means to Opal HealthCare and the local community for this world class facility coming a reality.”

This Residential Aged Care (RAC) facility includes 148 beds, over two storeys with a dementia specific unit for up to 16 residents to support elderly and dementia sufferers across Blacktown City and beyond.
