Hindmarsh has an integrated Safety, Quality and Environment (SQE) management system. Our robust processes provide our customers with SQE best practice peace of mind. Our comprehensive, third party accredited systems enable us to quickly identify, assess and mitigate risks across Hindmarsh and each project we undertake. Our SQE systems are accredited to the following National and International standards:
- ISO 45001 (Occupational Health and Safety Systems)
- ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems)
- ISO 9001 (Quality Management Systems)
Hindmarsh are proud to have been accredited by the Office of the Federal Safety Commissioner in accordance with the Australian Building and Construction OHS Accreditation Scheme since 2006.
Sustainability
We take our role as an industry leader in sustainable development seriously. Hindmarsh is proud to be a member of the Green Building Council of Australia (GBCA). We actively invest in initiatives to improve sustainability and waste management on all our building and development projects.
Over the last 40 years’ Hindmarsh have raised the benchmark for excellence in green building in Australia.
We have delivered a strong portfolio of 6, 5 and 4.5 Star energy efficient structures nationally.
In our residential and retirement development sectors, we actively employ Green Building initiatives using advanced technologies, including:

- Heat pumps for heating and cooling
- Greywater recycling
- Extra low power LED and fluorescent lighting technologies.
