North Sydney Office Renovation

Recently the NSW Sydney team were delighted to settle into their new office space in North Sydney following design driven renovations.

Still located on Level 27, Northpoint Tower, North Sydney, the new and improved office features additional desk spaces, including expanded work zones for the Estimating and Work Win Teams, increased collaboration spaces, a larger kitchen and communal area for socialising, and a great view out over Sydney Harbour.

Rowan Hindmarsh, CEO said, “I am delighted by our continued growth and expansion in NSW. With these successes comes the need for a revitalised space for our exceptional construction and shared services teams. 2024 will see us continue to develop our diverse client portfolio through the delivery of highly technical projects across a wide variety of sectors.”

“I am proud of everything Hindmarsh has achieved since we expanded into NSW back in 2005. This year (2024) will see Hindmarsh celebrate our national 45th Anniversary, having been founded in Canberra, ACT back in 1979 by my father John Hindmarsh AM. Thank you to the project team who expertly designed, managed, and implemented the office expansion.”

To celebrate this milestone the Hindmarsh NSW Teams got together at the North Sydney office for food and drinks, and a big thank you to the renovation project leader Aivy Le.

Lxana DeGrandmont and Linh Dang

We are delighted to share that both Lxana DeGrandmont and Linh Dang have been accepted to the NAWIC ACT Mentoring Program 2024!

Jemma Butt, Project Manager said “I took part in this program as a Mentee in 2016 and had an incredible experience with two fantastic mentors at very senior levels in the Canberra Construction industry.  The Mentoring Program is a great way to have a look at other parts of the industry and gain access and insights from a senior manager who you are not reporting to. It is also a great opportunity for networking!”

For its 8th year running, NAWIC ACT partner, Wisdom Learning Pty Ltd will deliver and facilitate its informative, inclusive workshops for mentees and mentors. These monthly workshops are designed to enhance the mentee-mentor relationship and experience, fostering deeper connections.

Nadine O’Keeffe, Project Director added, “I can highly recommend this program to both Mentors, and our younger team members as Mentees. I participated in this program over several years with NAWIC and got a lot out of the program both professionally and personally. It has been great to see the Mentees I have been involved with grow and develop in their careers.”

Last week members of the Hindmarsh Sutherland Hospital Theatre Upgrade project team got together to celebrate the project completion.

The Sutherland Hospital Theatre Upgrade project involved a combination of new build and refurbishment works to increase operating theatre capacity to meet future Hospital demand.

The project was delivered whilst the surrounding hospital continued to support the local community 24/7.

Reg Struwig, Project Manager said, “I am immensely proud of the Hindmarsh Project Team, our subbies, and suppliers. By working in close collaboration with NSW Health Infrastructure, I believe that we have delivered an exceptional project outcome, to a very high standard.

Thank you to the architects NBRS and consultants Acor Consultants, JHA, Arcadia Landscape Architecture, Innova Services and Blackett Maguire + Goldsmith. Without the hard work and dedication of everyone involved, we would not have been able to achieve such an incredible outcome.

I would also like to take this opportunity to thank Sutherland Hospital and their staff for their understanding and support during the construction process. We will miss working with you.”
