Hindmarsh are pleased to announce our membership with Supply Nation.

Hindmarsh’s membership with Supply Nation reinforces our commitment to diversity both within our workforce and procurement processes. Hindmarsh has a history of initiatives designed to help close the gap for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples and communities, including working with Reconciliation Australia to develop a Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP).

Supply Nation Chief Executive Officer, Kate Russell, said “We are delighted to welcome Hindmarsh as a member of Supply Nation and look forward to working with them to develop their supplier diversity footprint”.

Supply Nation is Australia’s leader in supplier diversity and custodian of the largest database of verified Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander businesses – Indigenous Business Direct. Since 2009, Supply Nation has worked to foster connections between Indigenous businesses and procurement teams from government and corporate Australia. Hindmarsh are excited to announce that we have now topped out the structure across all three buildings at Woden Green!

Keeping with tradition, we recently mounted a tree to the top of the tallest tower, to symbolise this huge milestone. The mounting of a tree is a tradition that dates far back, some saying it originated in Scandinavia and others citing Egypt. It has been adopted in modern times to symbolise various things, such as appeasing spirits, or bringing new life to the building.

Senior Project Manager, Renee Ioppi, says of this achievement, “For us, it’s about celebrating the team’s success and commitment to the project. Our construction team and sub-contractor’s work really hard to get a project to this point, and this milestone underlines the project’s real success. It takes a lot of hard work and team effort to achieve such success, and it’s a great source of pride for us all.”

“It’s exciting to see Woden Green taking shape, and we are proud of the finished apartments and of the progress our construction team are making. Walking through these apartments, you truly appreciate the functionality and liveability – a true reflection of the level of design and detail we put into each individual layout. Then there’s the views, which continue to impress us from all apartments. The views are expansive and will never get old!” said State Development Manager ACT, Mia Dragila.

Woden Green is the largest residential development (419 apartments), that Hindmarsh has undertaken since our founding in 1979 – well done and thank you to everyone involved in making this project such a success so far!

Looking to buy?

We have now released the final tower, adding a mixture of new apartment layouts to the availability. These range from 1 bed, 1 bed + media, 2 bed, 2 bed + media, and prime north facing penthouses. Check out the website here: Woden Green | 1, 2 & 3-Bedroom Apartments for Sale Now.

Hindmarsh Valued Partner Day – ACT 2024

Last week, the Hindmarsh ACT Team came together with our subcontractors, suppliers, and valued partners to enjoy some food, drink, and a sneak peek at what Hindmarsh has lined up in the ACT at The Duxton.

Nadine O’Keeffe, Hindmarsh Strategic Business Development Manager said, “The importance of these kinds of cannot be stressed enough. It was fantastic to catch-up with so many people outside of the everyday working environment. Having the chance to speak directly with our valued partners about how they see the industry, and in turn share our exciting pipeline of projects is always a wonderful experience. Thank you to Rowan Hindmarsh (CEO) and David Colbertaldo (State Manager – Construction ACT) for your presentations on the day.”

Thank you to everyone who joined us, and all our subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants – without you we would not be able to deliver such outstanding projects for our client partners!
