Margaret Hendry School expansion

Hindmarsh is well underway with the $30M+ Margaret Hendry School expansion in the ACT.

Hindmarsh is well underway with the $30M+ Margaret Hendry School expansion in the ACT.

The project will involve Hindmarsh expanding the existing facilities at Margaret Hendry (MH) to cater for an additional 450 Long Term Enrolment (LTE) students (up to 600 at peak capacity).

A new two (2) level Learning Community facility (Building F) will be constructed incorporating General Learning Settings, Specialist Learning Settings and Small Group Programs.

Prior to the Easter school holidays, the Hindmarsh team took the opportunity to install the semi-permanent hoarding which will separate the live school from the construction areas. Viewing windows were installed in hoarding between the new site and the existing school to give the students and teachers of Margaret Hendry Primary an insight to the construction of the new buildings and to satisfy the curiosity of what is occurring on the other side of the fence. Watch this space for future updates and more information.
