Project Overview
Southern Cross Care Thornton Park consists of a 100 bed residential aged care facility (RACF), 48 independent living units (ILU), community centre and landscaped areas.
The RACF building is made up of four (4) main areas. Care Areas including dementia wing and general care beds with ensuite bathrooms, and many with external access to gardens and terraces. Front of House areas including reception, waiting and administration area with coffee shop, hair salon, multipurpose doctors, podiatrists, consulting rooms, staff room and training areas. Back of House areas including commercial style kitchen, laundry, maintenance, storage, staff services, Ambulance Bay and resident drop off zones; and Community Care area including café, allied health care offices, management area offices, gym, library and activities room.
